Fully with you on that Weleda body butter and the L'Occitane shower oil! Both currently in my bathroom too. Will investigate the others! Love the film references - so good!

Thanks love! Think you’d really like the Mirror Water one, and all the others actually. Let me know what you think if you try them 🥰

Oh Suzy! Now you make me want to buy everything ! I live in a humid, sticky climate that I don’t need to moisturise as much but I absolutely enjoy too.

I love REN Moroccan Rose body lotion. I absolutely adore that scent and am so sad they discontinued the perfume.

Oh my goodness, yes that’s a gorgeous one. So richly evocative and luxurious in texture, too.

Palmer’s Cocoa Butter or Coconut ranges are both gorgeous smelling & feel luxe yet comfy on the skin.

My plastic surgeon suggested it post abdominoplasty & I’ve been addicted ever since.

The smells fades quite quickly so doesn’t clash with my fragrances just prolongs longevity

You should check out the Caudalie Body Creams, texturally they are like softened butter with the smell of almonds, they absorb quickly also.

In a strange moment of coincidence or synchronicity, I watched Silence of the Lambs last night, for the first time in probably about 30 years. And have also been considering shopping for a nice rose scented body oil. The Officine Universelle Buly oil is now at the top of my 'to buy' list ...

Does anyone know of a body product that might push the Galbanum note in a perfume? I love green scents but not foresty green.

Caudalie Body Creams are not explicitly green, but the mix of almonds and grape give some of that green bitterness, reminds me of a watered-down Chanel No.19. They come in a body butter or a lower priced body lotion.

FYI I got the body butter with the bitter almond note, I don't know if lotion smells the same.

Green Tea Nectar could be for you. A 500ml pot seems to be available between £10 to £20.

I’m quite fond of the Korres body creams. I have the jasmine one and the lilac one and usually one or the other matches my perfume.

Bit late to the party but my favourite body creams are the Beauty Pie ones. The texture is heaven and they often match them to their perfumes. My favourites are Brazilian Lime, Fig Leaves & Tea for the summer - so cooling like the best after sun ever - and currently I’m using Le Smash Santal, a sandalwood dream. Also really enjoyed La Poesie Des Chiffres in the winter (this one is still available but the others are coming back).

I love the Lush body lotions and I usually use the one that matches the shower gel I am using. Currently I’m loving Sticky Dates as I’m craving sweet vanilla fragrances. My all time favourite is the Rose Jam.
