Thank you! I need this. The last perfume I bought at duty free I thought I loved until I put it on and realized that scent was enough to gag a maggot.

Thank you Suzy! Very helpful and can’t wait for your duty free recommendations in your next article 😆. I fully agree on the special edition sets at airports- especially the mini bottle collections. My most joyful purchase was a set of 4 mini bottles of Cartier La Panthere in all its iterations (EdT, EdP and P) - so gorgeous. I already owned the Parfum but this made me discover the other versions and I now use them in different seasons and for travel 😊

Thank you, Mia! Oh my goodness, I’d have definitely got that Cartier set, too!! Had no idea it existed! 😍

Excellent advice. I travel a lot for work and could easily bankrupt myself in duty frees around Europe. My usual routine is to slowly make my way to the Chanel counter, locate the les exclusifs and then innocently smother myself in 1957 before quietly wandering away. The staff at Heathrow T2 are definitely on to me. One day I will shock them by buying a bottle ...

Great tips! I never thought to look ahead of time for exclusives. I recently purchased at Duty Free and looked up the retail price AFTER. Luckily duty free was $40 cheaper. Duty free purchases have become part of the thrill of travel and duty free gamble. You win some, you lose some. ✈️🎲

Thank you! Yes I only realised a while back you could look up the exclusives beforehand (when I was researching another article a few years ago). It’s also worth asking the staff! X
